Winning Bingo Tips

Best tips for you to be lucky as much as possible in bingo. These bingo tips will definitely help you to become a bingo winner!
When you see or hear a player yell bingo, you might ask the question, ‘Where did all that person’s luck come from?’ Now, I will discuss some important winning bingo tips to get your luck inland based bingo halls only.
You need to accept the reality that bingo is really a game that is dependent on luck. No one will ever know what is the next bingo ball to be drawn. However, there are some specific things that you can personally do to put yourself in a great position to win the game. These bingo tips will help you to become ready when that bingo ball comes up from the cage.
1. You need to be really organized. Arrive at the bingo hall early that you will have enough time to buy your cards and place them in an orderly manner on the table. Buy your needed beverages and food, prepare your daubers, and set everything in order so that you know where to get them when you need them.
2. Examine your daubers at home as much as possible. See to it that they are not dried up. You can wipe the surrounding edges of your dauber so that the ink can flow freely. For dried up daubers, you can dip the spongy area in a container of warm water and gently wipe out the excess moist with a sheet of paper.
3. Refer to the printed programs of the bingo hall so that you will know what games are playing when during the night. Again, put your bingo cards in order and make sure that you are familiar with all the games that are to be played that night before you start playing bingo. Daub the numbers that are needed to be daub in the first place depending on the bingo pattern that you are playing during that time.
4. If you are into playing multiple bingo cards simultaneously, then take some time to tape those cards on the table. This is to prevent from messing your bingo cards around while trying to daub the numbers. This is also to prevent your cards from mixing into another player’s cards especially if you are sitting next to each other and both of you have multiple cards.
5. If the bingo hall you are in is offering the game U-Pick-Ums or Circle Seven’s, then think about it beforehand and write down the numbers on a piece of paper for future reference. In this way, you will not waste some of your time thinking the numbers at the very last second.
6. Pick out a seat in the bingo hall where you can see the monitor clearly and hear the caller distinctly. Playing bingo with the monitor is much advantageous to you because you will be able to daub the numbers seconds ahead before the caller called them out loud. This can lead you to completing and yelling bingo first before anyone else, then you will not have to split the prize with another bingo winner.
Above all else, have fun at the bingo hall!

Are The Calgary Flames True Contenders For The Stanley Cup

As the season has gone on for the Calgary Flames, most hockey writers and fans have been impressed with their success; but I have been waiting for the other shoe to drop. It just has NOT happened yet! Well, here we are, 22 games in, and the Calgary Flames are NOT just playing hockey well, they are pushing my team, Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver Cancuks atop the Pacific Division. I believe that it is time to take the Calgary Flames seriously. The Calgary Flames are beating good teams, they are beating the teams they should beat, and they are doing it the right way.

The Calgary Flames this year is a very solid team, with the highest scoring defense in the NHL. Dennis Wideman has eight goals and Matt Giordano has six goals. There are other defense corps that do NOT have five goals amongst them. The young guys up front like Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau keep getting better and better, Jonas Hiller has been great in net and no matter how long we keep waiting for this team to crack they just do NOT seem to give me the satisfaction.

Just recently, the Calgary Flames’ comeback win against the Devils is a case in point. That was a game in which the Calgary Flames trailed by two goals multiple times and could have folded the tents, but the Calgary Flames kept battling confidently and got the two points. I keep waiting for the Calgary Flames to fall apart, but 22 games is a pretty long stretch to hide a bad team. I think that I’m past the point where I can consider this a bad team on a hot streak. The Calgary Flames , in my opinion, are a real playoff contender. Maybe they will struggle and fall out before the season end, but I do NOT see a reason to think that the Calgary Flames are going to collapse any time soon.

Do NOT Be Taken By International Lottery Scams

Scam operators often based in Canada are using the telephone and direct mail to entice U.S. consumers to buy chances in high-stakes international lotteries from as far away as Australia and Europe. Those scam artists using the internet are usually from Breat Britain or Nigeria. These lottery solicitations violate U.S. law, which prohibits the cross-border sale or purchase of lottery tickets by phone or mail.

Still, federal law enforcement authorities are intercepting and destroying millions of these international lottery mailings sent or delivered by the truckload into the U.S. And consumers, lured by prospects of instant wealth, are responding to the solicitations that do get through to the tune of $120 million a year, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

Both the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service say most promotions for international lotteries are likely to be phony. Many scam operators do NOT even buy the promised lottery tickets. Others buy some tickets, but keep the “winnings” for themselves. In addition, lottery scam artists use victims’ bank account numbers to make unauthorized withdrawals or their credit card numbers to run up additional charges.

If you play an international lotterythrough the mail or over the telephone you are violating federal law. There are no secret systems for winning international lotteries. Your chances of winning more than the cost of your tickets are slim to none.

If you purchase one international lottery ticket, expect many more bogus offers for lottery or investment “opportunities.” Your name will be placed on a “sucker lists” that fraudulent telemarketers buy and sell. Keep your credit card and bank account numbers to yourself. Scam artists often ask for them during an unsolicited sales pitch. NEVER give that information to anyone over the telephone!

The bottom line, according to the FTC: Ignore all mail and phone solicitations for international lottery promotions. If you receive what looks like lottery material from a foreign country, give it to your local postmaster.

To report telemarketing fraud of any kind, contact your state Attorney General.

Horse Betting In The United States

Horse Betting and horse racing have a close relationship that dates back to the beginning of horse racing itself.  Equestrian racing dates back at least to ancient Egypt and quite possibly even further back than that.  I do NOT know for sure how far back horse betting goes, but I do know that it has been a part of horse racing for as long as written history can tell us.

Horse betting today takes place around the world.  In the US, UK, Europe, South Africa and Australia, horse racing events are mostly held at racetracks devoted to horse and greyhound racing.  Much of the money involved in horse racing revolves around horse betting.

There are a couple of ways to try your hand at horse betting.  If you live near a track, you can visit it in-person to watch the races and place real money wagers on the outcome.  However, if you are like most people, you do NOT have access to a track, there are numerous websites that provide online horse betting.  However, http://www.bettingthehorsesonline.com also provides advise!

There are quite a few places to bet on horses on the internet.  You can visit most major sports books to bet on horses or check out a few websites that are dedicated specifically to horse racing and horse betting.  There are a few names that come to mind first when it comes to horse betting online since, in my opinion, they offer the horse bettor the best betting options:

1.  BetAmerica

2.  5Dimes

3.  TwinSpires

BetAmerica, TwinSpires, and 5Dimes are my top picks for US residents because two of the three websites are licensed and based in the United States in addition to accepting United States players.

NBA Betting Tips

One thing that you should keep in mind is that a team can look unbeatable one night and totally stink up the arena the next. In addition, the fact that it is played every day most likely has something to do with its popularity, yet that also is a reason for its unpredictability.
With such a long season, about 8 months, teams are going to have ups-and-downs, highs and lows, but some of them can be predicted, which gives bettors one advantage when it comes to betting the sport. Below are a few tips which can help you during the season:

1. Do NOT Underestimate Home Court Advantage
Even though most bettors will typically give the home team three or four points when trying to predict the outcome, the home court in the NBA may be worth more than that.
Looking at the 2009-10 season, among playoff teams the combined home record was 476-180, while the same teams on the road were 347-309. Non-playoff teams were 255-319 at home and just 152-422 on the road.

2. Always Check Starting Lineups
What is worse than betting on a team only to find out that their starting point guard is down?

3. Avoid Betting NBA Moneylines
As a rule, it usually is safer to bet the spreads!

4. Differentiate Between Home and Away Scoring
Closely related to the heading above, this one is more concerned with totals, but will also give you additional insight into straight point spread betting, as well. If we look at the Dallas Mavericks, who we mentioned above as being a poor home team against the spread and a strong road team against the number, we will see they averaged 101 points and allowed 98, both home and away, which is the main reason for their spread record.

Speaking of totals, teams like Boston and Denver saw their home games average five or more points than their road games, while a team like Memphis saw their home games average 200 points and their road games average 208.

Naturally, this will affect a team’s performance against the over/under number, as Boston was 22-18 to the over at home and 18-22 away from home, while Denver was 22-19 to the over at home and 16-25 on the road.

Likewise, Memphis was 19-22 to the over at home and 26-14 on the road.

5. Look For Overvalued and Undervalued Teams
There are simply some teams that are going to be overvalued each season and others that will fly under the radar. The overvalued teams are usually pretty easy to guess. Last year it would have Boston, Cleveland and the Lakers.

Only bet when the value is on your side if you want to make money. After handicapping all the games for that day, you will generally find that the oddsmakers have made a weak line. Only play these games. Always remember that the bookmaker is forced to put out a line on every game, you, on the other hand, are NOT forced to bet every game. This means you can pick and choose your spots which in our estimation puts the value on your side if you have properly handicapped a game.
There is no magic formula for winning at the NBA, but you can increase your chances by doing a bit of homework before placing your wagers.

NHL Betting Tips

I have compiled some of the best NHL Betting tips in this article. This overview will give you substantial material that is good to have when considering making a NHL wager. Everything from what to look for and what to research before going all in on a NHL bet you are not quite sure about. Provided are some NHL Betting tips to getting the best bet, but the ones I will be covering here are key suggestions to keep in mind if you wish to attain the highest payouts on your NHL betting selections.

1: Research Goalies

NHL teams usually have the same winning percentage when they have their starting goalie or backup. You will want to check the history stats for a specific team when a backup goalie is a factor. Most people view a team starting their backup goalie as an underdog – disadvantage to winning the game.

2: Research Injuries

Some hockey players are more significant to a team’s winning or losing than others. If a star player is injured, then check out the teams winning percentages when the player is starting as well as when he is not. If the hockey team wins even without their star player, then this would be a good bet to consider regardless of the hockey player’s status.

3: Bet the Underdog

Most people like favorites to win, but with the NHL being so competitive, any team could win any game. A good thing to consider, if you bet on underdogs every game, is that your potential money loss would be less than if you bet on a favorite, and your potential earnings would be greater. Thus, betting the underdog is usually the best choice.

4: No Parlay Bets

Parlay bets are enticing since they offer a higher payout for a smaller wager. I discourage parlays! In my opinion, recreational bettors, should only bet on single straight games than on parlays. Basically, parlay bets have tougher odds and definitely less chances of giving you a win, since you have to make one bet on multiple games, with every game having to be a win or the bet is a loss, hence, the reason to stick with straight hockey bets. The higher payout definitely sounds and looks good, but a bettor will win more often on single straight bets than risking it on parlay bets, unless you are a savvy bettor already.

5: Look for the best Money lines

Different sportsbook sites offer different money lines. It is a good idea to join multiple sites so you can search around for the best lines and again, find the highest payout odds for you.

6: Money Management

Actually, this real should be tip #1! A bettor will always want to keep a strict limit on their wagers. One should never go all in on one game. Professional guides say that a bettor should wage 2% of the total they have to gamble with. With a strict limit on wages made you will keep your overall money for another day. Obviously, this is just a suggestion for your online betting, but if you have gone through it already, you might want to ante-up a bit more, little by little as a pro.

7: Under the Influence
Never ever under any circumstances make a bet when you are under the influence of alcohol, or anything else for that matter. As we know alcohol impairs your judgment and this will lead to making bad decisions.

In conclusion, always do the necessary research needed to make a wise and potentially profitable bet. As long as you always find the best money lines and realize who is playing in what games and to never ever be under the influence while wagering, then your NHL betting will be successful.

6 Things YOU Must Know About Winning The Lottery

Winning the lottery is NOT easy. In fact, it is really difficult.

Below are 6 things that I believe you must know about winning the lottery. They are:
1. Winning is a very long shot. Most of us realize that we are more likely to die by a lighting strike than win the lottery. The chances of hitting the Powerball jackpot are about one in 175 million. (You could play Pick 3, which offers odds of one in 1,000 for a perfect match, but you would have to settle for $500 in prize money.) Still, the fantasy of spending a multimillion-dollar jackpot keeps hope alive.

2. A tale of two winners. If you are among the lucky winners, your life is guaranteed to get more complicated. “I work more since winning than I ever did before,” says Brad Duke, who won a Powerball jackpot in 2005. His goal is to turn that $125 million lump sum into $2 billion, and, he says, he is on the way to reaching his goal. But there are many cautionary tales, such as that of Jack Whittaker, who won a $315 million jackpot in 2002. After a series of ill-advised financial moves, he saw his fortune fade and his family fall apart.

3. You are going to be famous. Your state may have you hoist an oversize check over your head at a press conference. That is great advertising for your state lotto, but it is terrible for you. You are likely to become a target for scams, requests for handouts from total strangers and nuisance lawsuits. Only five states (Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota and Ohio) allow winners to collect their reward in complete anonymity. Other states let you mask your identity by claiming prizes through entities such as a corporation, limited liability company or trust (also helpful for claiming tickets bought with friends or through an office pool). Some states, such as Florida, will release your name, city and winnings whether you like it or not.

4. Assemble your A-team. You will have several months to cash in your ticket. So photocopy your ticket stub, put it in a safe-deposit box and start assembling your financial dream team. Your brother-in-law’s tax preparer down the street will NOT do the trick this time. You will need an investment adviser, estate-planning lawyer, insurance expert, certified public accountant and maybe a certified financial planner or private banker. Look for professionals who have handled more money than you have won.

5. Got discipline? You may have a choice between collecting your winnings as a lump sum (minus taxes) or receiving disbursements over 20 years or more. There are pros and cons to each. The lump sum will swell with smart investing and simplify estate planning down the road. On the flip side, the annuity works as a hedge against problems with self-control. “If you go through the entire payout in the first year, you have 19 more chances to get it right,” says Don McNay, author of Life Lessons From the Lottery. But if you die before your payments end, it could trigger complex tax issues; your heirs may need to pay estate taxes on your remaining winnings before receiving the unpaid portion of your disbursements.

6. Do NOT play Santa Claus. It is tempting to hand out wads of cash to whoever asks. But that kind of charity can wreak havoc on relationships and your bank account. Setting up a trust or family foundation can simplify the giving process. Brad Duke started the Duke Family Foundation. “It acts in part as a buffer,” he says. “We have strict guidelines on who we want to work with and how we work with them.” And sometimes cash is NOT the best way to show your benevolence. Your advisers can help you set up donations of tax-smart assets

Thoroughbred Horse Racing In Australia

Thoroughbred horse racing is an important spectator sport in Australia, and gambling on horse races is a popular pastime. The two forms of thoroughbred horseracing in Australia are flat racing, and races over fences or hurdles in Victoria and South Australia. Thoroughbred racing is the third most attended spectator sport in Australia, behind Australian rules football and rugby league, with almost two million admissions to 360 registered racecourses throughout Australia in 2009/10.

Horseracing commenced soon after European settlement, and is now well-appointed with automatic totalizators, starting gates and photo finish cameras on nearly all Australian racecourses.
Melbourne Cup Australia is second to the United States in the number of horses starting in races each year. Australia is third, after the U.S. and Japan for the amount of prize money that is distributed annually.

The Australian betting calendar is, of course, dominated by the Melbourne Cup , a true Australian institution that also enjoys a strong international following. Every November the nation stops to see who will win the legendary race at Flemington Racecourse, with seemingly every citizen having a bet in one way or another.

Like I said,Australia’s most coveted race is the annual Melbourne Cup, which takes place on the first Tuesday of November each year and is worth an incredible $6 million. Every year this historic event, which began in 1861, attracts crowds in excess of 100,000 people.

The Melbourne Cup attracts an annual viewership of nearly 2.6 million people, not including those who watch the race at bars, schools and offices, and truly is the ‘race that stops a nation’. Every year, each person on average in Australia places $8.50 worth of bets on the race that incites interest from the entire country.

Horse racing in Australia offers some of the most lucrative prize money in the world, with almost $422 million paid out annually to money winning horses. This figure is the third highest in the globe, behind only Japan ($1.36 billion) and the United States ($1.42 billion). Throughout the year Australians turn over more than $14.3 billion in wagering, equalling an average of $637 per person. $10 billion of this money is wagered on the TAB, while in excess of $4.3 billion is spent on the track or with online bookmakers.

The horse racing industry generates more than $6.2 billion in revenue for the Australian economy each year and provides jobs for 250,000 people, demonstrating the reach of racing industry on the Australian culture. Racing culture is so prevalent in their day to day life that approximately 1 in every 89 Australians are working in the industry.

Like I said, besides being a spectator sport, horseracing is an industry, which provides full or part-time employment for almost 250,000 people, the equivalent of 77,000 jobs. About 300,000 people have a direct interest as individual owners of, or members of syndicates which own, the 30,000 horses in training in Australia. There are bookmakers, over 3,600 registered trainers and more than 1,000 jockeys, plus farriers and veterinarians involved at race meetings alone. Race meetings are organized by approximately 374 race clubs that conduct about 2,694 meetings on 360 racecourses around Australia for over $427,245,000 in prize money

Other major Australian thoroughbred meets include the Cox Plate, also held in Melbourne, the Golden Slipper, the Victoria Derby, the VRC Oaks and the Caulfield Cup, just to name a few.

Do YOU Know Why Jackpots Get Rolling In?

I DO,... I really do!

I have evidence that people are to blame (and not the game itself), ...but will you act accordingly when I show you this LOGICAL evidence?

Listen, ... here's the UNDENIABLE truth:

When jackpots reach MONSTROUS levels, the sheer volume of EXTRA ticket sales caused by hysteria SHOULD make the positive outcome of the jackpot
NEVITABLE ...

I said "SHOULD"!

After all, with such a MASSIVE volume of ticket sales, all possible  combinations COULD be covered at least ONCE or TWICE, but that's NOT what's happening ...

What's happening is this:

(1) Players who pick their own numbers not only pick the SAME popular numbers (hooked up in different combinations), they play TOTALLY WRONG distributions too ...

AND ...

... (2) the millions of players who stick to RANDOM quick-picks do NOT realize that many (but NOT all) quick picks have totally wrong distributions too!

INCREDIBLY, this keeps happening week after week and draw after draw!

If players would realize this (and act accordingly) then those jackpots would NOT keep rolling over so many times like they do now! I guarantee you!

The question remains ... will YOU act accordingly next time?

For this week, here's what's at stake:

- Euro Millions : $240,616,000 USD
- Mega Millions USA : $224,000,000 USD
- Powerball USA : $125,000,000 USD
- Florida Lotto : $39,000,000 USD
- Eurojackpot : $21,528,800 USD
- Canada Lotto Max : $13,368,000 USD
- Wisconsin Megabucks : $13,100,000 USD
- New York Lotto : $10,100,000 USD

EuroMillions For Your Info This Friday

EuroMillions has now hit the magic €190M. That means 2 very important things.

1. It's big. OK, you knew that already ;-)

2. It's a rolldown draw. That means everything in excess of €190M that would normally go in the jackpot fund, will now 'roll down' into the next prize tier below.

That makes this Friday, October 24th, a draw you should definitely consider
playing.

Rolldown draws are rare. When they happen, they greatly increase your chance of winning a bigger prize.

The next draw will be even more important if the jackpot does not go on Friday. But I'll talk about that if it happens.

So How Should You Play This One?

Every way you can :-)
Buy more tickets. Buy more syndicate entries.  Spend  those small wins you've been putting aside.
Maximise your play for this draw, but don't blow your budget.  Especially as there's a chance next Tuesday's draw could be even more important.

2014 Los Angles Lakers Prediction

The biggest offseason storyline for the Lakers was its coaching search that ended with Byron Scott taking on the position. The former Lakers guard has largely been remembered for his uneventful coaching stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2010 to 2013, but Byron Scott also has consecutive trips to the NBA Finals as coach of the New Jersey Nets and a deep playoff run with the New Orleans Hornets highlighted on his resume.

Byron Scott has the right credentials and skill set to lead the Lakers back into NBA relevance, but the rebuild will take a few years. Without a big midseason trade the team may need a few more years before it puts together a legitimate championship contender. The best-case scenario for Los Angeles Lakers is to have another bad year and hope to fall into another lottery pick. The team, however, added just enough talent that it might get stuck in the no-man’s land of having a .500 record.

Los Angeles Lakers took a huge hit over the offseason when Gasol chose to leave the Lakers to sign with Chicago. The departure was not unexpected as Gasol’s unhappiness with the organization that dangled his name as trade bait for three straight years was well known around the NBA league. Despite the loss, the Los Angeles Lakers added some talent over the offseason and actually upgraded last year’s horrendous 27-55 team.

The Los Angeles Lakers took forward Julius Randle with the seventh pick in the NBA draft and may have a solid big man to help rebuild a championship squad in the future. The Lakers also signed Jeremy Lin and Boozer during free agency and the Lakers seems to have a 35- to 40-win team on its hands if Bryant can continue to stay healthy.

The Lakers do NOT have much of a chance at making the playoffs, let alone competing for a title—that is, of course, if it does not pull off a mega deal before the trade deadline. The Laker’s futures wagers do have value, however, simply because the organization is known for making huge moves and reloading its team. The Lakers are +6600 on the futures at 5DIMES.
Expect Bryant and Randle to have solid years, with both staying in the conversation for the MVP and ROY awards, respectively. At the moment Los Angeles does not have the talent to compete for the playoffs, but that could all change come February—so a small bet, especially for Lakers fans, could turn into a smart move.

2014 Los Angeles Clippers Prediction

The 2014 season will most likely be a different since former Microsoft executive Steve Ballmer is now in control of the Clippers and ready to turn around an organization that was known for mediocrity and dysfunction over the last 40 years. In addition, Ballmer paid a bundle for the Clippers! The Clippers are on the short list of title contenders and is expected to improve as star forward Blake Griffin enters his prime and the team adds new pieces to support point guard Chris Paul’s playmaking abilities. In fact, the Clippers have taken over the sunlight from the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Clippers core of Paul, Griffin and Rivers as coach is one of the most talented foundations in the NBA league and may be rivaled by only San Antonio, Oklahoma City, and Cleveland. The Clippers have been at the forefront of the NBA for three seasons, and since Rivers is in his second year with the team now might be the time for the squad to make a deep playoff run.

Of course, there will not be much pressure on the Clippers to win a championship this season, but at a certain point the team needs to prove that it can be a legitimate threat to win the Western Conference, if not the entire NBA. Even so, expectations will still be high for the Clippers heading into the 2014-2015 season.

The Clippers will essentially be returning the same team as last year’s 57-win squad, but the Clippers were able to add two quality role players and potential key contributors in Spencer Hawes and Jordan Farmar during the offseason. the Clippers’ biggest loss, however, was Darren Collison, who signed with Sacramento during free agency.

The Clippers are expected to be nearly $20 million over the salary cap for the 2014 season and may be handicapped in making any potential roster moves throughout the year. The team, however, will be more concerned with getting the most out of Paul and Griffin, while hoping DeAndre Jordan continues to evolve as a basketball player. Rivers’ crew does not need any more talent on board; what they need is continued on-court leadership, a shut-down defense, and quality production off the bench.

The Clippers have quite a few futures wagers on the board at 5dimes. The Clippers are +900 to win the NBA championship.

Mega Millions And Powerball - 3 Ways To Win Big

First and foremost you can get Mega Millions and Powerball numbers to hit the big one, but you are NOT going to get them together by simply playing your birthday or anniversary. To get a little closer towards the big checks, consider the following tips and tricks in regards to the lotto.

Mixing The Numbers – The first thing that you will want to do is make sure that you have a good mixture of numbers. Do NOT rely only on a set of consecutive numbers, or repeating decimal places, pick a good set of numbers that alternate between odds and evens. By mixing the numbers up and making sure that you are NOT stemming into superstition in your picking, you will be able to get the odds to shift towards your favor.

Repetition – One thing that most people do NOT realize is that the winning numbers cycle through every now and again. The winning numbers that appear today, will become the winning numbers down the road, the question is when? That is what most people do NOT know, but you can get in on the money by ascertaining when the next winning numbers are going to strike. In order to take advantage of this, you will have to keep a log of all the winning numbers and study for patterns. There will be obvious patterns and you will be able to decipher what numbers to get.

Software – The last tip you can utilize to win Mega Millions and/or Powerball is to look for number software. There is software out there that cannot only generate the correct numbers, but do so on a continual basis. You can end up winning multiple times, and that is NOT too shabby.

The above tips might NOT sit well with those that are skeptical. Those that are naysayers can simply stay where they are and NOT win, but those that want a serious chance at taking home triple digit millions should consider the aforementioned.

Why Go To A Horse Race

I got to thinking last week why you’d want to visit a horse racetrack anyway. Well, perhaps you are thinking, “That’s something my grandpa liked to do, but I’m not interested.”
Horses Coming Around The Corner
Especially, if you are watching horse racing at the higher levels of the sport. I do like to gamble a little. Especially, sports betting and horse betting. I personally do NOT see the fun in losing my shorts in some dark, smoky casino. But, you can make money in sports betting and horse betting if you know what you are doing. Horse racing feels like entertainment, an experience, an outing. In addition, I like that I’m outside. I like that there’s a lot of history and tradition behind horse racing. All in all, whether I win or lose money, I still have a great time for a lot less money than going to a sports event.

These days if you want to take the family to a pro basketball or football game, the tickets and food can easily run you $400. Admission to a horse racetrack is often free except for maybe parking. In addition, the minimum bet on each horse race is just $2, and you can sometimes bring your own food and drinks. You get to spend all afternoon and evening outside, watching beautiful animals, and race horses are beautiful, perform at their peak ability. And the best part is that all this can run you less than a trip to the movies.

And if you are looking for an affordable and unique date, the horse racetrack is where you should go! Besides, where you will NOT run out of things to talk about!

Little Known Facts of World Series Games

1.Game 7 has been won by the home team in the last 9 World Series that have gone to seven games (the 1982 St. Louis Cardinals, 1985 Kansas City Royals, 1986 New York Mets, 1987 and 1991 Minnesota Twins, 1997 Florida Marlins, 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks, 2002 Anaheim Angels, and 2011 St. Louis Cardinals). The 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates are the last team to win a World Series Game 7 on the road. This trend reverses the previous historical trend in which Game 7 had been most often won by the road team, in 1979, 1975, 1972, 1971, 1968, 1967, 1965, and 1962. During the 1960s and 1970s, the home team had won Game 7 only in 1960, 1964, and 1973. Since 2003, when home field advantage started to be awarded to the team representing the league that won the All-Star game, the first Series that reached Game 7 was in 2011. The greatest comeback in World Series history was in 1968, when the Detroit Tigers came back from a 3–1 game disadvantage to win Game 5 after being behind by 3 runs, before winning games 6 and 7 on the road at St. Louis.
2.The 1981 Los Angeles Dodgers are the last team to win a World Series after losing the first two games on the road (against New York). The recent tendency of a team winning the first two games at home and then winning the Series suggests the theoretical advantage to gaining home-field advantage (and the first two games at home) by winning the All-Star Game.
3.The Pittsburgh Pirates have won all five of their World Series championships in seven games.
4.The Minnesota Twins/Washington Senators have won their three World Series championships in seven games.
5.There have been 19 World Series four-game (4–0) sweeps. Nine different teams have swept a World Series at least once, the Yankees having done so most often (8 times). The Red Sox, Reds, and Giants have all done it twice. The Braves, Orioles, White Sox, Dodgers, and Athletics have each swept one Series. Six of these teams (all but the Orioles, Red Sox and White Sox) have also been swept 0–4 in at least one World Series. The Red Sox’ two World Series sweeps are the most of any team that has never been swept in one. The Reds and Yankees are the only teams to have swept each other (The Yankees swept the Reds in 1939, while the Reds swept the Yankees in 1976). The Giants are the only team to record World Series sweeps in two different cities: New York (1954) and San Francisco (2012). The 1999 Yankees are the last team to date, and the only one since 1966, to sweep a World Series it began on the road (as well as the last American League champion to date to win a World Series it began on the road). The 1963 Dodgers are the last National League team to date to sweep a World Series it began on the road.
6.The Athletics, Cardinals, Cubs, and Yankees are the only teams to be swept in two World Series. The Athletics and Yankees are the only two of these with at least one World Series sweep to their credit, the other two being among nine teams overall that have never swept a World Series, but have been swept in one (the Tigers, Astros, Indians, Padres, Phillies, Pirates, and Rockies being the others).
7.The Cubs in 1907 and the Giants in 1922 won 4 games to 0, but each of those Series’ included a tied game and are not considered to be true sweeps. In 1907, the first game was the tie and the Cubs won four straight after that. In 1922, Game 2 was the tie.
8.The Cincinnati Reds were the only National League team to sweep any World Series between 1963 and 2012, sweeping their last two series appearances to date in 1976 and 1990. When added to their Game 7 victory in 1975, this means that the Reds have won their last 9 consecutive games, making this the current longest winning streak in terms of consecutive World Series games won.
9.Nine World Series have ended with “walk-off” hits, i.e., that game and the Series ended when the home team won with a base hit in the bottom of the ninth or in extra innings:[23] 1924*, 1929, 1935, 1953, 1960*, 1991*, 1993, 1997*, and 2001*. Five of these (marked with a *) were in a deciding Game 7. In addition, the deciding Game 8 (one game had ended in a tie) of the 1912 World Series ended in a walk-off sacrifice fly.[24] Two men have ended a World Series with a walk-off home run: Bill Mazeroski in 1960 and Joe Carter in 1993. Mazeroski’s was a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth of Game 7 to win a championship for the Pittsburgh Pirates, while Carter’s was a three-run shot in Game 6 that won a championship for the Toronto Blue Jays.
10.The Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays are the first teams to have an elimination game (or any game) be suspended because of weather, and not have it cancelled. Game 5 (in Philadelphia) was suspended Monday, October 27, 2008 with a 2–2 score, and resumed in the bottom of the sixth on October 29.
11.Both of the Minnesota Twins’ World Series titles since relocating to the Twin Cities from Washington, DC (where they were the first Washington Senators) were in 7 game series where all games were won by the home team. The Twins accomplished this in 1987, when the Twins defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, then 4 years later in 1991, when the Twins defeated the Atlanta Braves. The Twins victories in both series were in games 1, 2, 6, and 7, while their National League opponents won games 3, 4, and 5. This same scenario also occurred in 2001, when the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the New York Yankees.
12.Also of note when it comes to the three series where every game was won by the home team, a pitcher was MVP. In the 1987 World Series, Frank Viola was the MVP having pitched games 1, 4, and 7, and finishing with a 2–1 record. In 1991, Jack Morris achieved the same feat pitching games 1, 4, and 7 with a 2–0 record and a no decision in game 4, and winning MVP honors. However, Morris’s MVP came on the heels of pitching 10 shutout innings in game 7. Finally, in 2001, Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson took MVP honors by being the reason the Arizona Diamondbacks were in position to win the series.
13.The Boston Red Sox have lost 4 World Series, all in 7 games. (1946, 1967, 1975, & 1986)

Decoding The Racing Form

Decoding the Racing form for picking a winning horse. They are:

1. Hone your handicapping skills. Handicapping is the process of determining which horse has the best chance to win a race. It is a test of your creative intelligence, not systematic computation. To do this, you will need the Daily Racing Form, which you can buy upon entering the track.

The Daily Racing Form is full of a whole bunch of stats and figures, which I will be discussing below. Once you know how to decode the racing form, you will have a pretty good idea of which horses should do well.

2. Look at the Beyer Speed Figures. Beyer numbers often serve as a starting point in the handicapping process. Beyer Speed Figures are the bold numbers found in the middle of each DRF, indicating the horse’s past performances. Handicappers often use the horse with the highest last-race Beyer as their focus and eliminate horses that have never run a figure close to this horse’s figure. There are two numbers: pace and speed.

Pace projections. By scanning the past performances, handicappers try to estimate the pace of the current race and determine which horse will benefit most from it. The first bold-face number, pace, shows whether the horse likes to be on the early lead or not.

Speed projections. This is not the same as pace. Speed (the 2nd bold-faced number) shows the horse’s ability to pass other less-speedy horses as they near the finish line. Speed does not equal consistency!

3. Look at that race’s distance. Distance is one of the biggest factors when it comes to betting. If you are looking at a horse that tires out around six furlongs and you aree at the Belmont Stakes where it is a whopping twelve furlongs, you probably do not want to bet that horse.

How has your horse run in other races of this similar length?

•Distance, pace, and speed are very powerful in tandem. Looking at how your horse runs in different distances will clue you in to how the horse will perform in races of different lengths.

4. Take into account the track and the weather. This is called “track bias”: no single factor in handicapping can change the complexion of a race like a track bias. If wise bettors detect any kind of bias in the racing surface, they incorporate it into their decision-making. What is track bias? Every horse has their preferred surface, whether it is turf or dirt. You want to know how your horse will perform on whatever your track is.

Do not forget the weather! A little rain quickly turns that dirt into mud. Take into account how your horse has performed in this type of weather, not just the type of track.

5. Consider “form cycles.” Handicappers must ask themselves questions about each horse. Is the horse’s last race a true representation of that horse’s ability? Is the horse likely to improve or regress on race day? Which horses raced against a bias last out and can be expected to offer a peak performance today? Horses, just like humans, are never 100% consistent.

•One thing to consider is the size of the purse and where the horse is coming from. If the size of the purse is large, this is one classy horse – the horse will probably be pretty consistent. And if the horse got flown in from somewhere, her owners paid a pretty penny to get the horse there, so they will probably break out all the stops to see the horse win.

6. Look at the horse’s post position. In the list of the horse’s previous races, you will see the horse’s previous post position. Sprint races around one turn usually favor outside posts, while route races (races with 2 turns) at longer distances often favor inside post positions. What is this race? And what is your horse’s post position? Has the horse run a race like this in the past and done well?
•You may want to consider other horse’s post positions, too. If a certain horse seems to be speedier on the inside and for this race is on the inside, this horse will be serious competition.

A Lottery System Changes Everything

If you have ever visited a large-scale grocery store, or even a convenience store, you probably noticed that there are a lot of areas where the lottery companies are trying to sell you on making millions of dollars with easy drawings. Some of the games that you can play in these modern times cost around $1 and can generate upwards of six figures and in some cases give you millions of dollars. If you have been wrestling with the notion of winning big money, but are afraid that the edge is not in your favor, than it is imperative that you look into something that is going to push the pendulum in your favor. The thing that is going to help you out the most is a proven lottery system.

The reason why a lottery system works best is because it changes the very framework of the lottery system and it hands you a better shot at fighting through the muck. Think of it in simple terms. The average person is selecting their numbers from their own personal life, often times wondering about lucky numbers, birthdays, and so much more. These people often times lose the lotto and go home to come up with new numbers. Now, you will change that by focusing on several key pieces of information that they are not utilizing.

The information that you are going to use is not necessarily top secret, but rather it is a part of a bigger strategy to perfect the chances of winning the lotto once, twice, or even multiple times, and legally too. It starts with playing often, more than just once or twice a week, and it requires a bit of patience at first. You will not win on your first try, but within time, you will make it to the winner’s circle and get the big oversized check.

Parts of proven lottery systems include random number generators that pick your numbers for you. These generators are legal and are utilized by every major casino that has automated lottery systems or even slot machines. By having a computer system assist you with the selection of numbers, you are getting an edge that the next person is not. If you combine tenacious playing, software, and pay close attention to the times when the lotto seems to be lackluster in terms of payout, you will crack the code. It starts with you working on a strategy away from the norm, and ends with an oversized check in your hands.

I suggest that you get Professional Gambler Chris Malcolm amazing lottery package. His amazing and proven state lottery systems use probabilities, odds, and his matrix system to Produce WINNING Tickets Night After Night.

NFL Handicapping Secrets

NFL handicapping secrets! The difference in knowing about these helpful betting tips can end up saving you thousands on your bets this season. Here they are:

– One of the worst ways to predict how many wins a certain NFL team will have over the course of a season is to wrongfully assume that the team will win the same amount of wins or losses as they did last year. Here’s how to properly predict it:

– If a team won more than 8 games last season, they will probably win less than what they won last season than the upcoming season. Vice versa is also true. This is due to the affect of the draft selections, and strength of schedule that changes each year.

– An easy way to predict how many wins a team will have in the upcoming season is to take the team’s expected number of wins last year, multiply it by 3, add 8, then by divide 4.

– Do consider the strength of schedule.

– Turnover differential: a team with a turnover adjustment of +10, penalize it by 37.5 points. Increase its points for by 15, and decrease its points against by 15.

– When predicting which team will win in an upcoming head-to-head game, try not to put too much emphasis on each team’s win-loss records. instead, put more emphasis on:

– How many points did each team lose by on average so far? -How many points did each team win by on average so far?

– The quality of each teams’ wins. What good teams have they beaten, and what bad teams have they lost to?

-If the numbers come out to be close, then consider the quality of each team’s field goal kickers.

-Turner differential. Remember, turnovers are 82.5% of the time luck-based, so you should add 3.75 points to a team’s “lose by” total for every turnover it commits, and subtract 3.75 points to a team’s “won by” total for every turnover in its favor.

– If you do decide to buy points, never buy more than.5 point in any game. Assuming that you get good odds for buying points, only buy .5 point if your team has a line of +2.5; +3; +6.5; +7; -2.5; -3; -7; or -7.5.

For example if the original spread for your team is +2.5, then it can be smart to buy.5 point to bring the spread to +3 ONLY IF you get good odds for buying points. Otherwise, don’t.

– In NCAAF (College Football), Only buy .5 point for your team if it has a line of +6.5; +7; -7; or -7.5

– Do a 2 team teaser when your team is a favorite between -7.5 to -8.5 on the spread, or underdog between +1.5 to +2.5 on the spread.

Your win rate might increase so radically if you tease teams that fall into the above range that you can actually blindly tease all of the NFL teams that fall in the above criteria and win over the long term! Keep in mind that although past results don’t guarantee future performance, my grueling research has shown that it is actually a profitable betting strategy over time based on historical data.
Hope you enjoyed these American football handicapping tips Richard! Put them to good use ;)

Persistence Pays Off When Playing The Lottery

Here’s how anyone can improve their persistence in 5 simple steps:

1) Believe that you WILL win. As you have seen in the many testimonials on “The Lottery Life” blog, his System works for many players because they continue to play even when the last game was a no or low win. They know the power of the System. They have stickability and persistence… and sooner or later it pays off.

2) Persist, keep going. Whenever there are top people in their field, you can bet they got there through dogged determination. Not all of them are exceptionally gifted, they are just hugely focused. Most of these success stories have lost big-time in their lives, but fought on to make a comeback. Read any book on winners and you will discover the same thing… they all possess a gritty determination to successfully fight against huge odds.

3) Pay the entry fee happily. I get a few emails from people who get annoyed at the price the lottery charges for their tickets. If they only remembered that the lottery is the ONLY way to gain many millions of dollars for less than the cost of a hamburger, they would look at their entry fee in a different way.

4) Have a bigger goal. If you give up too soon, it is probably because you have NOT set your winning target high enough and are not motivated. Find your personal goal, then plan to make your winning a reality by playing more.

5) Stick to a regular routine. Go down to your local lottery shop at the same time each week. Or better yet, play the lottery games online. Go with the same friend each time. Park in the same spot if you can. See the same assistant to have your tickets processed. Have a coffee afterwards in the same shop. These small rituals build on your play tactics so you will feel as if you are missing out when you do NOT do it. That gives you an incentive to keep going. Once you have done this a number of times, it will be easy to continue to play and not miss a game.

When you use persistence, great things happen:

The Peaking Horse Betting System

The most basic information supplied at any horseracing meeting in the world will be all the horse’s form. Form is simply the result of the 3 to 4 races the horse ran.

For Example: 0X624 Joyjoy

The horse Joyjoy above came fourth at its last race, second at its second last race, sixth at its third last race, had a break from racing (as indicated by X) and came either 10 or above just before it took the break.

The Codes Explained, Briefly:

Read the numbers and letters from right to left, with the first number or letter on the right being the result of the latest race and second number or letter on right being the result of the second most recent race, etc…

X – Means ‘Spell’ and simply means the horse took a break from racing
O – Means the horse came 10 or above in the race
F – Means the jockey fell in the race
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 & 9 – Represents the position the horse finished the race
THE SYSTEM

Now that we know how to read form, let’s plunge into discovering this system!
Look for horses that are peaking with form. We do this by glancing through the latest three starts a horse has had.

Here’s what we are looking for…
The horse must have come second and third in its last two starts therefore the last two form should look like this:

32 Horse’s name
For its third last start the horse must have come either 4,5,6,7,8 or 9. We don’t care what it came for its fourth start and onwards.

So we are looking for horses that have their last three starts looking like this:
432 or 532 or 632 or 732 or 832 or 932

Horses with the above form are simply peaking and will run very well. However there are many other variables that affect the outcome of a race so do not expect to win or place every time. But… if I were to use only form to select winners, this is exactly what I’d use. In fact if you glance through any form guide, you’ll see a number of horses with form that’s 321. These horses have already peaked and won but now will face tougher competition because of the recent win. This is why you have to get them just before they win i.e. when the last two digits of the form are 32.

I have recently received feedback from some of my clients reporting to have used variations of the system described here with exceptional results. They bet on horses with improving form over the last three starts, irrespective of whether the latest two numbers are 3 & 2. Example: 642, 863, 752, etc…How you end up using my system is entirely up to you! I would suggest you experiment with the various combinations and stick to the one that works best for you.
Belmont StakesI recommend you use the same amount to bet for a win and place (Eachway Betting) so you collect something if the horse or dog comes in first, second or third.
Now just by using this simple betting plan you’ll be way ahead of the majority of the punters out there…but wait, there still more! Next I’m going to show one of the secrets that professional punters use to grow their betting bank into thousands of dollars, QUICKLY!

Review Of Bovada Sports Book

Bovada will NOT let you down with software quality — their software was updated in late 2011 and it works smoothly, functions well and looks good on all platforms, including the mobile version that has been gaining traction recently.

In addition, Bovada Treats You Well

Bovada’s customer service has always treated me well. You can contact them via phone or e-mail.
How Bovada/Bodog Got Started and Controversy

Bovada is the “US version of Bodog” – it was created by Bodog’s operators, has the same software and shares the same players. Thus, you can feel good to play at a site that has been in the online gambling business since 1998.

In 1998, a company called Cyberoad would provide software for some of the first online betting sites, namely Grand Prix, The Big Book and Mayan Sports. Also, keep in mind these companies were using a payment processor called eBank.

Eventually Cyberoad purchased eBank – a deal in which Calvin Ayre, the founder of Bodog, acted as a consultant.

In 2000, Cyberoad went out of business and El Moro Finance – a company owned by Calvin Ayre – acquired Cyberoad’s assets. El Moro Finance kept providing the same software that they had just acquired under the name of eSportz, only now things were different for the betting sites involved: The Big Book had acquired Grand Prix (The Big Book shared offices with Calvin Ayre’s company) and kept using the eSportz software, while eSportz and Mayan Sports were unable to come to an agreement.

During the time that Mayan Sports was out of the game, a new company called Bodog – founded by Calvin Ayre – started sending Mayan Sports’ customers e-mails, telling them to sign-up at Bodog and that they could use their Mayan Sports usernames to log-in. While I have had no success in finding accurate details of this deal, Mayan Sports has accused Calvin Ayre/Bodog of stealing its customers. Based on what I know, it certainly looks suspicious.

Calvin Ayre has been involved in quite a bit of weird stuff – for example, at some point he used a fake name (”Cole Turner”) as well as his real name, and made a lot of people angry when they found out that he had been acting under two names – and, of course, never told his business partners that he was operating under both names.

Before founding Bodog, Calvin Ayre has also been associated with marijuana smuggling (for which his father got sentenced) and insider trading (which he settled for $10,000).
Bovada Only Accepts Players from the US. It is exclusive for US players, although it shares its player pool with Bodog (Canadian-only).

Bovada does have States that are restricted – Bovada

Review Of Bookmaker Sports Book

Bookmaker prides themselves on being the first to set lines for games. This provides unique opportunities for the customer, as the site is NOT just waiting to leech numbers from the competition. Add live betting into the mix, and you have a sports book that consistently offers a positive experience.

BookMaker parlay odds, which consist of two or more wagers on a single ticket at an increased payout, are identical to those found at rivals such as 5Dimes. Two teams would amount to +264, five teams would be +2435, and the customer has the option of betting up to a 15-team parlay.

Bookmaker also has football teasers, and these bets allow customers to place wagers on two or more teams while moving the point spread. The site is slightly behind 5Dimes in the quality of its teaser odds. There is a maximum teaser limit of $10,000 when betting against the spread for NFL or college football games.

With mobile betting, the customer is no longer shackled to their laptop or PC. Instead, they can place wagers on their smart phone or tablet, and it is NOT unusual to see someone winning big while waiting in line at the grocery store.

Bookmaker supports mobile gaming, and it is compatible with iPhone, Blackberry, and Android. Customers can sign up without having to download anything, although withdrawal requests do require a phone call or visit to the main website.

According to customer reviews that I have read, the most frequent complaint about their mobile betting app is poor navigation between various betting markets. This is NOT as bad as it sounds, however, and further technological innovations should mean a decrease in this issue over time.
bookmaker, however, as the most consistent complaint revolves around the amount of time it takes them to respond to email (up to 2 days).

There’s a lot to like about Bookmaker, but the following items are what I consider to be their greatest strengths:

•Customer Privacy – All sports book sites talk about privacy and security, but Bookmaker makes these items a priority. Mailing lists are never sold or traded, and no government agency or third party will ever have access to your information. Each client is provided with a personal pin number and password, and these can be used to access an account by phone or PDA.

•Global Customer Base – While many sports books and casinos shy away from U.S. players, Bookmaker welcomes them with open arms. The same goes for residents of all other nations, although those living in the states of Maryland and Washington will need to looks elsewhere.

•Quality Reputation – Bookmaker and their parent company, BetCRIS, have over 25 years of industry experience, and they’ve been cited in everything from the Wall Street Journal to the Washington Post. They have also been known to bail out smaller sports books who can NOT pay clients, so their concern for customer satisfaction is beyond reproach.

My Betting Philology

Start Earning Tons Of CASH

I started gambling several years ago and quickly learned that betting on my favorite teams and/or the best teams in the league does NOT work at all. After falling in a hole I started to Google search for free predictions/picks. I started using at least 5 free sites and none of them were any good. You get what you pay for, I guess!

Granted a few would have a nice winning streak every once in a while and then bombard me with emails to pay anywhere from $200-$600 for picks. I was in debt from gambling so I could NOT pay so much for average picking skills at best. Finally I came across Kevin’s NFL PICKS site from a Google search and it is by far the best out there. NOT only are Kevin’s NFL Picks >constantly better than any site, in addition, Kevin also posts the record and earnings no matter what. The write-ups are great too. In addition, I remembered that I had used Kevin’s MLB picks also and ad very “good” luck with those picks!

In fact, Kevin got me thinking that I should also sell my picks since I had been in the business much longer than Kevin. Most of my free picks are from results that I get testing new programs. Although these FREE picks are “good” most of the time, they are NOT my best since they are the results of new programs that I might be testing.

Instead of charging hundreds like most sites do, I generally charge either 49.95 or 99.95, depending on the sports. My philology is that YOU are out to make a PROFIT. I know that when I place a sports bet, I am! What really amazes my paid subscripts is that after I charge such a low amount for the 5 star picks (which are pretty much always winners), I still make a lot of winning daily free picks.

Formula 1 Lotto System

Its really gets depressing.

Every week I go to my local lotto store to put in my usual tickets, and I see people cued up with $10…$20 sometimes $ 100 bills in their hand, ready to pay for their lotto tickets.
I know straight away that what they are about to do is like flushing their hard-earned money down the toilet!

You see 99.95% of lotto players have got no idea that there is a REAL system that was developed by an MIT professor 25 years ago, that is helping lotto players to win more very time they play.

In fact this professors system will get you wins 8 out of every 10 times you play.

It’s called the Formula 1 Lotto System.

And I can tell you one thing…
A system doesn’t stay around as long as the professor’s system has, unless players are winning when they use it.

The Formula 1 Lotto System IS the real deal!

If you want to stop throwing your hard earned money down the toilet each week playing lotto the ‘losers way’, then now is your chance.

You can finally start winning, when you have this incredible system on your side.
And for a very short time, you can get the complete Formula 1 Lotto System for 50% off the normal selling price.

The article on this lottery system can be found at http://24-7lottery.com

Absortion Staking Plan

The first thing you need to do before placing a single bet is to establish a betting bank. Your betting bank has to be self-sustaining and once established you cannot add any more of your “own” money to it. Now, use 5% of the bank to bet for a win and 5% for a place/show for all your betting from now on. Reinvest all your profits back into the bank and let it absorb the losses as well.

So whether your bank increases or decreases in size, your bets remain in proportion all the time – 5% for a win and 5% for a place/show

Example: Betting Bank $100: Win bet $5 Place Bet $5
OR
Betting Bank $75: Win bet $3.75 Place bet $3.75 (Round them off to nearest whole number if need be)

How You Can Sustain 30 Straight Losses

Even though this Absortion Staking Plan is no where as robust as Mohammed Ali’s main selection system “How to ‘Place Bet’ on Favorites for a Living”, you still should NOT get 9 straight losses in a row – let alone 30! However the staking plan I have recommended that you use can withstand up to 30 straight losses without totally breaking the bank. A betting bank of $100 will be $4.18 after the 30th loss – not completely wiped out. Los Alamito Racetrack Try it and see for yourself!

Los Alamitos Daytime Racing

Live daytime racing comes back to Los Alamitos Race Course on September 5 through September 21 with an 11-day Fall meeting that will be highlighted by the Los Alamitos Mile on Saturday, September 6 and a pair of premier juvenile races to be held on September 13-14. The Los Alamitos Mile for 3-year-olds and upward on the dirt, could be used as a steppingstone for the Breeders’ Cup Classic to be held November 1.

Another potential highlight during the opening weekend of the meet will be a public viewing of a workout by the highly popular Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner California Chrome at Los Alamitos. Racing fans will be invited to view California Chrome’s workout on opening weekend, as he continues preparations towards a return to racing in September.

The three-week meeting will feature world class Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing with a 2 p.m. first post time each racing day. The action will typically consist of eight to nine Thoroughbred races to be followed by four to five Quarter Horse races, plus top class Arabian action, carded as one program. The meet’s opening weekend on September 5 through 7 will consist of racing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The other two weeks of the meet will feature racing on a Thursday through Sunday basis. There will be no live racing Wednesday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The nine-race stakes schedule will feature the 25th running of the $100,000 Barretts Debutante for 2-year-old fillies at 6 ½ furlongs on Saturday, September 13, and the $100,000 Barretts Juvenile for 2-year-old colts and geldings at 6 ½ furlongs on Sunday, September 14.

Other stakes events will include the $75,000 E.B. Johnston Stakes for 3-year-olds at 6 ½ furlongs; the $75,000 Beverly Lewis Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at 6 ½ furlongs; and the $75,000 Orange County Stakes for 3 and up fillies and mares at 6 furlongs.

The E.B. Johnston is named in honor of the late outstanding owner and breeder who operated Old English Rancho, one of California’s Leading Thoroughbred Farms now under the watchful eye of his son, Bud Johnston. Beverly Lewis and her late husband, Bob Lewis, campaigned Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winners Silver Charm and Charismatic, as well as Eclipse Award winners Folklore, Orientate, Serena’s Song, and Timber Country, (owned in partnership with Gainesway and Overbrook Farm).

Closing day, Sunday, September 21, will feature a pair of stakes races – the $75,000 Katella Stakes at 6 furlongs for 3-year-olds and upwards and the $75,000 Las Madrinas Stakes for 3 and up fillies and mares at 1 1/8th of mile.

“We’re very excited for the opportunity,’’ said Brad McKinzie, general manager of the Los Alamitos Thoroughbred Racing Association. “Our goal is to offer quality racing featuring the top horsemen in California, and our exciting stakes schedule promises to showcase many of the outstanding racehorses stabled in Southern California.’’

The Fall meeting is the second of three Thoroughbred meets that Los Alamitos will play host to in 2014. Los Alamitos hosted the Summer Festival from Thursday, July 3 through Sunday, July 13 while the Winter session will be held Thursday, Dec. 4 and conclude on Sunday, Dec. 21. The Summer meet featured the victorious 2014 stakes debut of Eclipse Award winner Shared Belief in the Los Alamitos Derby.

Los Alamitos offers free general parking every day, daily $2 grandstand admission for seniors, and $5 grandstand admission. Every patron with a paid admission will also receive a complimentary voucher good for free admission at the Los Angeles County Fair while supplies last.
