San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is looking for $18 million per year in a long-term contract with the team. Isn't that a pit much? After all he did not win the championship!
Kaepernick is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is set to earn $973,766 which is high for a rookie or anyone for that matter that is entering the job market! This is his base pay this season. Report does say, however, that the quarterback’s representatives say they are willing to table negotiations until after this season if the 49ers do not make a fair market offer.
The $18 million per season that Kaepernick is asking for would put his salary in line with other franchise quarterbacks.
